The Center for liberal Moder\u00adnity cor\u00addi\u00adally invites you to the online presen\u00adtation of the Policy Paper \u201eSupport Without Effect? Eco\u00adno\u00admic factors cons\u00adtrai\u00adning the success of RES support auc\u00adtions in Ukraine\u201c on Novem\u00adber 17 at 11:00 CET (12:00 Kyiv time).<\/p>\n

The shift from the feed-in tariff to RES auc\u00adtions was inten\u00added to reduce the cost of rene\u00adwa\u00adble energy support and improve its market inte\u00adgra\u00adtion. However, the launch of the auc\u00adtions was delayed by the debt crisis, macroe\u00adco\u00adnomic diffi\u00adculties and wartime risks. The first auc\u00adtions in 2024\u20132025 proved largely inef\u00adfec\u00adtive \u2013 most lots attrac\u00adted no suc\u00adcessful bids.<\/p>\n

During the presen\u00adtation, we will discuss what changes in the feed-in premium and con\u00adtract for diffe\u00adrence mecha\u00adnisms\u2018 calcu\u00adlation metho\u00addology are needed to sti\u00admu\u00adlate invest\u00adment in new RES capa\u00adcity, which is neces\u00adsary for the reco\u00advery and develo\u00adpment of Ukraine\u2019s energy system.<\/p>\n
